Description
The Jim Sutton Fingerstyle Guitar Series examines right hand picking and strumming technique, strength and dexterity exercises, and chord embellishment. The Fingerstyle Guitar Series will progressively take the mystery and difficulty out of fingerstyle playing.
Fingerstyle Guitar Study 1 begins with dexterity exercises. The study then looks at a number of rhythm patterns applied to different chords and chord progressions. Most of the chords are played in the open position. The level of difficulty of Fingerstyle Guitar Study 1 is consistent with that of Stage 1 of the Moving Toward Great Guitar Playing Course. This is an introductory level. The study is written in tablature.
