Description
This is the second in the Country Lead Guitar Series.
The focus of Country Lead Guitar Study 2 is on the A shaped barre chord played at the 5th fret. The intervals of the chord are discussed and a riff is assigned to each. The student is encouraged to expound upon this concept by developing riff ideas of their own.
Applicable scale patterns are discussed. A country boogie solo is charted and the solo techniques are analyzed. There is continuity between this study and the other studies offered by the Jim Sutton Institute of Guitar.
