Heavy Metal Solo Compositions Style Comparison Study 1 looks at three different approaches to composing a solo in the style of heavy metal. A Modal approach, a Minor Pentatonic approach, and a Chordal approach. The three solos are interchangeable over each rhythmic groove demonstrated.
